Evangelical Planning Group (EPG): Coffee Mornings

In early 2025, the EPG implemented coffee mornings every Sabbath fortnight to invite truthseekers to hear the gospel. At each event, 2 groups are assigned to help out, including members from the wider congregation.

The brethren are encouraged to invite their family and friends to come to coffee mornings to learn more about the truth. Thank God, Newcastle has seen several truthseekers walk through the doors to hear the gospel.

Spiritual Convocation

From 20 to 22 July, Newcastle church held her annual spiritual convocation with the theme “Rekindle the Fire”. The sacraments of baptism, footwashing and Holy Communion were held on the last day. Thank God, ten souls were added to the fold.

Throughout the three days there were choir presentations from Evergreen, Adult, Children’s and Joint choirs to encourage the congregation to rekindle their faith. Childminding was provided by RE teachers so that the parents could concentrate on learning the word of God.

Deaconess Ordinations

During Newcastle Spiritual Convocation on 21 July, praise God, four sisters were ordained as deaconesses following the completion of their training.

- Sis Christine Kwok is now Dns Abigail Kwok
- Sis Helen Ho is now Dns Mary Ho
- Sis Karen Ho is now Dns Deborah Ho
- Sis Wincy Shek is now Dns Hannah Shek.

Thank God, they have been actively serving in church since their ordination. May God continue to guide them in their works.

宣道組: 咖啡早晨

在 2025 年較早前，紐卡素教會宣道組已開始實行每兩星期一次於安息日前舉辦「咖啡早晨」，邀請慕道朋友前來聆聽福音。每次安排不僅有宣道組員參與，亦有會眾一同協助此項聖工。全體會眾都被鼓勵邀請尚未信主的家人和朋友參加「咖啡早晨」，一同學習真理。感謝神，自活動推行以來，不斷有慕道朋友踏進本會，聆聽真道

紐卡素教會靈恩會

7 月 20 日至 22 日，紐卡素教會舉行年度靈恩會，主題為「再如火挑旺」，並於最後一天舉行洗禮、洗腳禮及聖餐禮，共有十名慕道者受洗歸入主的名下。

在三天的靈恩會期間，長青團契、兒童詩班、聯合詩班及成人詩班分別獻詩，鼓勵會眾再如火挑旺。除此之外，宗教教育老師及同靈自願協助照顧兒童，讓父母能專心學習神的話語。

按立女執事

由去年開始，四位姊妹已完成培訓，並於紐卡素靈恩會期間被按立為女執事:

郭榮欣姊妹為亞比該執事;
何綺雲姊妹為馬利亞執事;
何彩芳姊妹為底波拉執事;
石詠詩姊妹為哈拿執事。

感謝神，自她們被按立後，一直積極投入事奉。願神繼續帶領她們的聖工。

In October, four sisters were approved to be ordained as deaconesses so that more younger workers can come to serve, for the purpose of succession and in readiness to branch into two churches in the future. The four sisters are Karen Ho, Christine Kwok, Helen Ho and Wincy Shek. They are currently undergoing their pre-ordination training with UKGA preachers. Once the training is concluded, they will be ordained at Newcastle church at some time in 2025.
The plans for the Longbenton church were stopped due to several issues that arose, therefore the decision was made to sell the property and search for a new location (the Longbenton site was successfully sold for £600,000 in April of 2024). Alongside this, a new building was purchased for the UKGA headquarters and a local church at Cramlington in 2023. The building, named Silverton House, is currently in the fit-out phase which includes fixtures and fittings which is likely to take the rest of this year to complete. This is estimated to require a further £2,000,000 in funding. Thank God the members in Newcastle church approved an offering of £1,000,000 towards this project.
On 21-23 July, Newcastle Church held a spiritual convocation with the theme of “While it is Called Today, Abound in the Work of the Lord”. This was divided into three subtopics: ”Do Works for God”, “While it is day, Pray Always” and “While it is Day, Abound in the Work of the Lord”. The sacraments of Baptism, Footwashing and Holy Communion were also held on the last day. A total of eleven souls were added to the fold–ten from Newcastle and one from Manchester place of worship. Throughout the three days there were choir presentations from evergreen members as well as children’s, joint and adult choirs to encourage the congregation to abound in the work of the Lord. Additionally, childminding was provided with volunteer RE teachers and members who chose to help look after the children so that their parents could concentrate on learning the word of God. During this time, the children studied the book of Acts to help them learn how to abound in the work of the Lord as well.

在 10 月份，四位姊妹獲批准按立為女執事，因此將會有更多年輕的工人，為未來教會的傳承與分設兩間教會作準備。這四位姊姊為：何彩芳姊妹、郭榮欣姊妹、何綺雲姊妹及石詠詩姊妹。她們目前正接受英總傳道人的立職前培訓，一旦培訓完成，預計將於 2025 年在紐卡素教會接受按立。
由於出現多項問題，朗坪頓教會的計劃已取消，因此決定出售該棟建築物並尋找新地點。在 2024 年 4 月，朗坪頓土地以 £600,000 英鎊成功出售。同時，英總於 2023 年購買了位於 Cramlington 名為 Silverton House 的商業建築物，作為新英總總部大樓及當地教會之用。 Silverton House 目前正處於裝修階段，包括固定設施與內部裝潢，預計整個工程將持續至今年年底完成，並估計仍需額外 £2,000,000 英鎊的資金。感謝神，紐卡素教會同靈已批准為此 Silverton House 項目奉獻給英總 £1,000,000 英鎊。
紐卡素教會於 7月 21 日至 23 日舉行了為期三天的靈恩會，主題為「趁著還有今天，多做主工」。這被分為三個子題──「為神工作」、「趁著白晝，常常禱告」和「趁著白晝，多做主工」。
在最後一天的靈恩會，也舉行了洗禮、洗腳禮及聖餐禮，總共有 11 位靈魂加入主的羊圈裏— 10 位屬紐卡素教會， 1 位屬曼徹斯特聚會點。在這三天裏面，我們有長青詩班、兒童詩班、聯合及成人詩班，以詩歌鼓勵會眾多作主工。此外，我們還安排了志願的宗教教育教員來看管兒童，有些同靈們也選擇幫忙看管兒童工作，讓孩子們的父母可以專心學習神的話語。在此期間，學生們也學習使徒行傳以幫助他們學習如何多做主工。
