About LMS
LMS offers workshop-based training for brethren to take part in the Literary Ministry. The timetable includes livestreamed lessons on the LMS theme, group discussions and peer review sessions via video conferencing. Classes will run according to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) timings.
Theme
This year, LMS will support attendees to write blog articles on the theme of “Staying holy in this perverse generation”.
We will look at what it means to be holy and the importance of being separate from the world as children of God, exploring practical ways to keep our garments pure and to protect our souls from the deceptive dazzle and constant bombardment of overt and subtle temptations.
By writing online blogs on this theme, attendees can spread the message to reach more members around the world as we all prepare ourselves in the last days.
You will need
- Bible
- Hymnbook (469 hymns version)
- Handouts
- Computer / laptop / tablet
- Internet connection with adequate bandwidth to access and upload to the online folders during LMS
- A quiet space
- Headset (optional)
Attendee requirements
Attendees must be a baptised member of the True Jesus Church, aged 18 years old or older (underage youths will be considered on a case-by-case basis), proficient in spoken and written English, and able to submit their writing project in English.
Registration notes
- Registration closes on Thursday, 31 October 2024.
- There are 30 places available on a first-come-first-served basis.
